Amtico Decor — Amtico, presented by Office Solutions
The format behind this scorecard exists to push past the polite nodding of a typical lunch-and-learn. Nine specifiers from different disciplines scored Amtico Decor independently, and the number below reflects that friction rather than a single generous read.
Like every entry in LTD’s first Design Jury, Amtico Decor was scored against five criteria, Innovation, User Experience, Build Quality, Sustainability and First Impression, each worth 10 points, for a possible total of 50. No single category is weighted above another. All nine jurors scored the entry independently; the highest and lowest totals were then dropped before the remaining seven were averaged, the same method used across all four entries. Below is the full breakdown, dropped scores included.

The notes leaned heavily on one story: this is flooring built around a genuine circularity claim, not a marketing one. Several jurors pointed to the same specifics independently, a manufacturing process that reuses cooking oil as a raw material at roughly 60 percent, a zero-waste factory, scraps recycled back into new production, and a 20-year commercial warranty behind all of it. The customisation range came up just as often, no minimum quantity, boundless colour and pattern combinations, and a render tool tied directly to the products. Another was more particular about finish quality, noting some tiles read as premium and others closer to regular, with the chevron pattern the clear standout of the range.
